Common reasons include muscle imbalance whether it is weakness or tightness, poor alignment ok knee cap, over use of leg resulting from excessive impact of high activities, flat foot deformity and finally the anatomical abnormalities in the knee cap shape and the grove in which it sits. Collectively all these conditions result to a condition known as chondromalacia patella which results in pain and inflammation. This is typically seen in young adults particularly women, they typically present with the pain in the front of the knee which is precipitated by going up or down stairs or when they try to sit up and walk after a prolonged period of rest.

Pain in the lower abdomen one week after contact he first thing is to see a gynecologist, we have to rule out any pelvic inflammatory diseases, any infections, any sexually transmitted disease. So unless the gynecologist sees, or if there is lot of pus discharge, unless a pus culture is done, you cannot be treated for it. Any infection it can be appropriately treated. So specifically in a young girl, in a reproductive age a group, any infection has to be treated more than what is actually required, because we are worried about people with chronic pelvic diseases and fallopian tube blockages. So if there is a pain post one week of contact, the girl has to see the gynecologist to see if there is any infection that persists and appropriate treatment has to be given for the same.

Leg pains and cramps are usually common 4 weeks after caesarian section. The various reasons can be during pregnancy there is loosening of hip joints and ligaments affecting the legs, knees and back but after delivery the body has to come back to normal and this may be painful. So take regular calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 , iron. Sleep properly, do gentle exercises, stretching exercises, yoga, pranayama, drink plenty of water if possible attend the post natal exercise class. Avoid wearing high heels. Avoid carrying heavy weight. Expose yourself to adequate sunlight for the daily sunshine Vitamin D. rule out other causes by taking a visit to your obstetrician who may also take the help of orthopedician or neurologist to rule out other causes like deep vein thrombosis, hematoma in the epidural site region, sciatica, that is the disk compression, presence of any minor fractures, varicose veins.
